Why use Utils365
ROAS that means something
A ROAS of 3 can make money or lose it. Your break-even ROAS shows which, worked out from your own costs.
ACoS for Amazon sellers
ACoS, ad spend as a share of sales, is shown next to ROAS, so you can compare it with Amazon’s advertising reports.
Your ceiling per order
Add your orders to get your cost per order and the most you can pay in ads for one before it loses money.
Private and free
Everything is worked out in your browser. Your figures aren’t sent anywhere, and there’s no sign-up.
Frequently asked questions
How is ROAS calculated?
ROAS is the revenue from your ads divided by what you spent on them. Spending 1,000 to bring in 4,000 in sales is a ROAS of 4, often written 4x or 400%. Use the same period and campaigns for both figures.
What is a good ROAS?
One above your break-even ROAS. If your products, shipping and fees take 60% of each sale, 40% is left to pay for ads, so you break even at 1 ÷ 0.4 = 2.5. Anything above that is profit; below it, the ads lose money however good the number looks.
What is break-even ROAS?
The ROAS at which ad spend uses up exactly what’s left of each sale after your other costs. It’s 100 divided by the percentage you keep before ads: keep 50% and you need 2, keep 25% and you need 4.
What is the difference between ROAS and ACoS?
They’re the same figures turned upside down. ROAS is revenue ÷ ad spend; ACoS, used on Amazon, is ad spend ÷ revenue as a percentage. A ROAS of 4 is an ACoS of 25%.
Is ROAS the same as ROI?
No. ROAS only compares revenue with ad spend. ROI, or the profit after ads shown here, also takes off what the products cost to make, ship and sell, so it tells you whether the ads actually made money.
What is a target ROAS?
The ROAS that leaves the profit you want after ads. Enter a target profit, such as 15% of sales, and the calculator gives the ROAS to aim for, which you can set as a target in Google or Meta ads.
