How to use JSON to CSV

  1. Add your JSON

Paste JSON or open a .json file. A table preview shows the result as you go.

  2. Choose the options

Pick a separator, and whether nested objects become columns like address.city or stay as JSON text.

  3. Download the CSV

Click Convert to CSV and open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.

Why use Utils365

  • Understands API responses

Works with a list of records, a single record, or a response like {"results": [...]}.

  • Nested data made flat

Nested objects turn into tidy columns; lists are kept as JSON text in one cell.

  • Excel-friendly

Accents and emoji display correctly when the CSV is opened in Excel.

  • Private by design

Conversion happens in your browser; your data is never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

What JSON shapes are supported?

A list of objects, a single object, or an object that wraps a list of records, such as an API response.

How are nested objects handled?

By default each nested field becomes its own column, like address.city. You can also keep them as JSON text.

Which separator should I use?

Comma works for most apps. Some European versions of Excel expect a semicolon.
