  1. Add your products

Enter each product’s selling price, the supplier’s price, the shipping you pay and how many you sold or expect to sell.

  2. Add costs per sale

Check the payment fee and add your ad cost per sale (CPA) and any other cost per order, such as packaging or an agent’s fee.

  3. Compare and price

See profit per unit and in total for every product, the margin on each, and, with a target margin, the price to charge.

Why use Utils365

  • Up to 20 products at once

Compare every product side by side and spot the ones that lose money once ads and fees are counted.

Set a target margin and get the lowest price for each product that reaches it after every cost.

  • Private and free

Everything is worked out in your browser. Your products and prices aren’t sent anywhere, and there’s no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate dropshipping profit?

For each sale, take the selling price and subtract the supplier’s price, the shipping you pay, the payment fee, what you spent on ads to win the sale and any other costs per order. Multiply by the units sold for the total.

What is a good dropshipping profit margin?

After ads, many dropshippers aim for 15% to 30% of the selling price. Before ads, products are often priced at 2.5 to 3 times their landed cost, because ads commonly take a quarter to a third of the price.

What is CPA in dropshipping?

Cost per acquisition: what you spend on ads, on average, for each sale. Divide your ad spend by the number of sales it brought in. A product that sells for 30 with a CPA of 12 has 18 left for everything else.

How do I find the right selling price?

Enter a target margin and the calculator finds the lowest price that leaves it after the supplier price, shipping, payment fee, ad cost and other costs. The fee grows with the price, which the calculation allows for.

Should I include shipping in the price?

Either way works, as long as the customer pays it somewhere. If you offer free shipping, enter the full price the customer pays and the shipping you pay the supplier; this calculator assumes the shipping cost is yours.

Does it work for AliExpress, CJ or Zendrop?

Yes. Use the product and shipping price your supplier charges you, in your store’s currency, whichever app or agent you use.
