How to use PSD to JPG

  1. Add your PSD files

Drop one or more .psd files onto the page, up to 200 MB each.

  2. Set the quality

Use the slider to balance file size and detail. The default suits most photos; raise it for prints, lower it for the smallest JPG files.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my PSD say it has no flattened image?

We read the combined image Photoshop saves in each PSD. It’s missing if “Maximize compatibility” was turned off: open the file in Photoshop, turn it on in the save options, and save again.

Is the JPG exactly what Photoshop shows?

It’s the flattened image Photoshop saved inside the file, so it matches what you saw when the PSD was last saved.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG has no transparency, so they become white. Choose PSD to PNG to keep them.

Are 16-bit and 32-bit documents supported?

Yes. They’re converted to the usual 8 bits per channel.
