How to use Add watermark
Add your PDFs
Drop one or more PDFs onto the page, or click to choose them. The first page appears as a preview.
Design the watermark
Type your text or upload a PNG or JPG logo, then set the size, color, opacity, angle and position. The preview updates as you go.
Apply and download
Choose all pages or a range like 1-3, 7, click Add watermark, and download your stamped PDFs.
Why use Utils365
See it before you save
The watermark is drawn over the real page, and you can step through pages to check each one.
Sharp, searchable text
Text in Latin-script languages is added as real PDF text, so it stays crisp when zoomed or printed. Other scripts are added as a high-resolution image.
Private by design
Everything happens in your browser, so your PDFs are never uploaded to a server.
Several files at once
Watermark a whole batch of PDFs with the same settings in one go.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to every page of a PDF?
Add your PDF, type the watermark text or pick an image, leave Pages on All pages, and click Add watermark.
Can I use my logo as a watermark?
Yes. Choose Image or logo and upload a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background looks best, especially at low opacity.
Can I repeat the watermark across the whole page?
Yes. Choose Tiled under Position and the watermark is repeated in staggered rows across each page, at the angle you set.
Can the watermark be removed later?
It’s added to the page content, so it can’t simply be switched off in a PDF reader. Someone with PDF editing software could still remove it, so it deters copying rather than preventing it. To stop editing, also protect the PDF with a password.
Does it work with Chinese, Arabic or other scripts?
Yes. The built-in PDF font only covers Western European letters, so text in other scripts is drawn with your device’s fonts and added as a high-resolution image.
Does it work with rotated or cropped pages?
Yes. The watermark is placed on the page as it’s shown, so it stays upright and centered even on sideways or cropped pages.
