Frequently asked questions
How large can the result be?
Up to 40 megapixels. At 4× that means images up to about 2.5 megapixels to start with; use 2× for larger ones.
What images work best?
Photos, artwork and illustrations. Very tiny or heavily compressed images improve, but can’t recover detail that was never there.
Is it the same as Resize image?
No. Resize stretches pixels, which looks soft when enlarging. Upscale uses AI to add detail.
